About Linda
I would like to introduce myself to you. I am an Animal Ambassador and telepath. Though this may sound strange to some of you, there are quite a few of us "animal communicators," working with animals to assist them in expressing their needs, appreciations and complaints to their human companions. Perhaps I may describe how I was drawn to this ministry.
I was a psychotherapist in private practice for 16 years. In April of 1997, I fell from my horse and sustained a serious head injury, requiring a craniotomy and nine days in the hospital. I have no memory of the accident, or the first six days when I was in ICU. I tell you this only because this, in some strange way, seemed to have led me to where I find myself now. This gift stopped me in my tracts in terms of my Type A+++ personality, forcedme to focus on the now only, and opened up a whole new world to me.
Immediately after I arrived home from the hospital, animals, both wild and domestic, began to connect with me in some very unusual ways. Eagles, Great Horned Owls, Blue Herons, poisonous and non poisonous snakes, Mountain Lions, a skunk and many others of the animal kingdom spent one whole year showing themselves to me, and relating to me on a very personal level. It took me that year to get past saying to myself, "What an interesting coincidence!" Finally, they reached me and helped me to understand that they had chosen me as their ambassador, to speak for them. I discovered I could communicate with them, as well as understand their communications to me. I truly believe during those days in the hospital, the ones I still don't remember, I was in school, training for this amazing ministry. I took another year of a personally enforced internship, practicing with my friend's animals. Finally, I believed it was time to go public, to let humans know about these incredible beings from the animal kingdom, who have so much to teach us. And I feel honored to be gifted in such a way by these beings.
Even though I teach animal communication and conduct individual sessions with animals and their human companions, I see my role with and for the animals as much broader than that of just an animal communicator. I see my self as a liaison between the animal kingdom and the human kingdom, assisting both in creating new ways of interacting, a willingness and excitement to learn from each other, and in the development of teams, whose goals include the redesign of a world that works for everyone.
